Job Summary

A motor vehicle auto spares retailing company is looking for a suitable qualified personnel to fill in the following positions
1. Dispatch and Receiving Clerk x 1

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties And Responsibilities
– Assembles and prepares orders for dispatch.
– Provides details of progress on deliveries and schedules.
– Coordinating stock control operations with warehouse staff as well as the branches and finance departments.
– Responsible for monitoring the returns process.
– Examine and unpack incoming consignments; record shortages and damaged items.
– Ensuring outgoing consignments are in good condition and meet specifications i.e. number organizing the dispatch of goods with completed documentation.
– Maintaining prescribed records of goods received and dispatched
– Examines outgoing goods to ensure consignment meets requirements.
– Verifies outgoing orders against requisitions
– Reconciles outgoing inventory against returns
– Cooperate with representatives from other departments in the organization to provide warehouse information as requested.
– Visually monitor inventory levels and communicate low levels to buyers, schedulers, and others as necessary.
– Overseeing stock storage processes.
– Performing regular inventory audits, counts
– Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from the dispatch area

Qualifications and Experience

– 5 "O" levels including English language and mathematics
– A diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Materials management or equivalent
– At least 2 years’ relevant experience.
– Thorough attention to detail
– Organisation and time management skills
– Ability to perform well under pressure
