A Non-Governmental Organisation is looking to hire a dedicated Finance and Administration Intern to work in Harare.
The incumbent is expected to ensure day to day accounting and administrative functions are performed in accordance with organisational policies, procedures and donor requirements.
Responsible for monthly cash reconciliation and submit for review to Finance and Administration Manager; Preparation, monitoring and analysis of monthly reports including input into the accounting system; Petty Cash management; Preparation of and verification of all payments and receipts including supporting documentation; Management of logistics related activities.
Qualification and experience
Degree in Accounting or equivalent; At least 2 years’ experience in NGO sector in the field of Finance and Administration with verifiable references; Pastel Accounting Knowledge; Excellent computer skills including Microsoft packages; Knowledge of payroll systems; Good written and communication skills; Excellent time management and organisation; Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
