Program Officer ( tourism and others, volunteer program, security management) Announcement The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is the agency of the Government of Japan responsible for implementing Japan's Official Development Assistance (ODA). To adequately fulfill its mandate and role in the country, JICA Zimbabwe Office is now inviting applications from suitably qualified and self-motivated Zimbabweans of high personal integrity to apply for the following positions: Positions for Application: Program Officer2 in charge of program operation (projects in the sector of tourism and others, volunteer program, security management) The Program Officers and the Administration Officer are expected to support the senior officers including the Resident Representative in their duties and responsibilities. Expected Timeline: Feb.8 Deadline for submission of application Feb.11-12 Notice of Interview Feb.15-19 Interviews (including a short test for writing and PC skills) Feb.26 Notice of Employment April 1 Beginning of work at JICA Zimbabwe Office
Work/Educational Requirements
Applicants are required to have the following basic qualifications: – Academic qualifications: Bachelor degree (for Program Officers), Diploma (for Administration Officer) or higher – Working experience: more than three years or equivalent – Business skill: MS-WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT – Language: High proficiency of English – Age: preferably between 25 and 40
