ABOUT WFP

The United Nations World Food Programme is the world's largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide. The mission of WFP is to help the world

ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT

WFP is currently implementing the last year of its 2017-2021 Country Strategic Plan. The CSP portfolio includes both life-saving and resilience activities overseen by activity managers. Field Level Agreements management is done by each activity manager, while COMET and invoice reconciliations are also fully decentralized to the different teams. The Programme Unit recognizes the limitations of this approach that puts a considerable burden on activity managers while missing out on opportunities for data sharing and optimization of repetitive processes.
