Duties and Responsibilities

The Role-What we expect from you

· Manage the staging and testing of hardware components for new or repaired hardware.

· Monitor user license activation for operating systems and applications

· Design the hardware set-up of EFT systems and verify the components of all new devices

· Supervise installation of Operating System software and Application software on servers

· Ensure testing on EFT System component is done successfully before deployment

· Review regular preventative maintenance on user machines and on EFT Hardware

· Review all system documentation for server infrastructure, EFT systems, and end-user computing devices such as Desktops, Laptops and Tablets

· Implement and verify IT security controls across all server infrastructure, EFT systems, and end-user computing devices

· Monitor all Data Centre equipment and review Disaster Recovery plans and invocation procedures

· Manage of the datacenter maintenance for both production and Disaster recovery

· Manage provisioning and testing of ATM hardware components

· Lead, manage and direct the support team.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications, Skills and experience required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology

• HP FLAPS, HP Blade systems Administration, Microsoft, Security+, A+ or equivalent.

• ITIL Foundation and other relevant certifications

• 5 Years’ experience of Hardware/Desktop/EFT systems support

• Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, EFT systems and Computer Hardware architecture and maintenance
