Employer: West Coast Personnel
Embedded Developer in C/C++ / Remote – R75,000-R80,000 per month (Negotiable)
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in product development, ideally in the field of lithium-ion batteries, inverters, IoT, AI, machine learning, or smart home technology
At least 5 years of experience in C++ for embedded systems
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience:
At least familiar with RTOS (Real time operating systems)
Strong understanding of low-level programming languages
Able to write efficient code for and memory-constrained microcontrollers
Familiar with microcontroller architectures and how to interface with hardware
Experience in interfacing with common communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and TCP/IP
Experience with logic analyzers, oscilloscopes and in circuit debuggers
Experience with standards and regulations such as CE, ICASE and or international standards such as FCC, UL and should be able to design and develop products that meet these standards
Ability to adapt to new technologies and programming languages
