Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following post: FACULTY OF ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF MINING AND MINERAL PROCESSING ENGINEERING POST: LECTURESHIP: ASSISTANT LECTURER (1 POST) Duties & Responsibilities The candidate should be able to assist in teaching at least two modules from the following; • = Introduction to Mining and Metallurgy, = Mine Ventilation, = Surface Mining, = Coal Mining Methods and = Engineering Economics
= BSc (Hons) in Mining Engineering or equivalent. = A tertiary teaching qualification will be an added advantage. = At least two years of post-graduate experience in the mining field and registered for a Masters in Mining is a distinct advantage. = ZIE membership is an added advantage.
