Grants Manager: Local NGO

- A well-established NGO is seeking to hire an experienced Grants Manager (female environment) 35 to 45 years. This is a senior post in the organisation and requires an experienced person with the ability to prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts with donors. The Grants Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of grant compliance with donors and Zimbabwe regulations.
- The Grants Manager will also be responsible for identifying potential funding and leading the development of the proposal with the program staff.
- The ideal candidate for this role should have good organizational skills, good leadership qualities, and competent budgeting and monitoring skills. The Grants Manager will be responsible for ensuring the funded programs operate efficiently, that the monitoring and evaluation processes are sound and that the organisation remains compliant with all reporting requirements. The Grants Manager will work closely with the Senior Management Team and in particular the Finance Director, and should be proficient in Excel and data management.
- A degree in development or social science coupled with financial training and monitoring and evaluation training is ideal, along with training and experience in project implementation and management.
