Job Summary

A company in the iron and steel industry is looking for qualified and suitable MALE candidate
to fill the following position.
1. DATA CAPTURER X1: Willowvale

Duties and Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities
• Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners.
• Type in data provided directly from customers.
• Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes.
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
• Updating existing data.
• Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
• Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
• Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost.
Core Competencies
• Basic understanding of databases
• Knowledge of touch-typing system in strongly preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets.
• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral
devices.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• 5 ‘O’ Levels including English Language and Mathematics/Accounts.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• A minimum of 3 years’ hands on experience in data capturing.
