JOB TITLE : Procurement Assistant (Grade 10) x 3 Posts REPORTS TO : Procurement Officer STATION : Head Office – Harare JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY ? Conducting procurement of goods & services in terms of Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act(PPDPA) (Chap. 22:23); ? Preparing bidding evaluation documents and administering the bidding process; ? Sourcing quotations from reputable suppliers and assessing bids; ? Checking inventory levels and ensuring that minimum inventory levels are maintained; ? Developing annual and monthly procurement plans; ? Monitoring contract performance ? Preparing procurement reports

Work/Educational Requirements

? Diploma in Purchasing & Supply Management/CIPs or equivalent; ? 1 year of working experience in Procurement or other related fields; ? Ability to work under minimum supervision; ? Excellent oral and written communication skills; ? Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
