Description

The Award and Partnership Manager is responsible for delivering an efficient and effective award management function. They will lead award management for all programmes, and develop best practice award management processes across the Zimbabwe Country Office Location: Harare Contract Duration: 2 years

Work/Educational Requirements

At least 5 years’ experience in portfolio management, preferably in finance University degree in International Development, Business Administration or Finance Experience of staff management, supervision and capacity building in Award Management Experience of communicating with impact in a complex stakeholder environment Proven track record of in-country award portfolio management and experience of grant/contract management & sub agreements with knowledge of major funders’ guidelines (e.g. USAID, ECHO, DFID, UNICEF, WFP etc.) Excellent research and report writing skills Computer skills e.g. Word, Power Point and Excel Desirable Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and commitment to capacity building of staff, with proven skills as a trainer/facilitator and mentor Ability to be self-sufficient and resourceful Ability to forge excellent relationships with children and adults Ability to work as part of field team and successfully join up work with partner staffs The Organisation We employ approximately 25,000 people across the globe and work on the ground in over 100 countries to help children affected by crises, or those that need better healthcare, education and child protection.
