Basic Function The position supports all FHI360 projects and provides critical administrative, technical or program support to Human Resources (HR) Team in functional areas including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compensation, HRIS and training. S/he is responsible for the execution of HR administrative processes and support for the Human Resources team. The Human Resources Assistant also interacts extensively with multi-site employees. S/he answers questions from employees using knowledge of principles and practices of human resources and company procedures. Job Description Conducting interviews, creating of interview files and conducting reference checks for all NEC graded employees; Conducting initial new hire orientation and ensuring all relevant documents are included on orientation package for new staff; Assisting with tracking performance and probation goals; Timesheet Administration, i.e. entering new employees into TESS, monitoring time sheets completion by staff; Creating requisitions in HRIS (Workday) and entering new staff into the system; Timely verification of documents for personnel files, timely filing of the documents, benefits, and record keeping; Managing all leave processes such as receiving forms, updating the leave tracker; Follow-up on approvals for all HR documents; Providing administrative support to HR team including ordering office supplies and stationery; Serving as initial point of contact for employees with questions relating to their personal employee information.

Work/Educational Requirements

BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Management/ Psychology/Social Sciences or its recognized equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; Possession of IPMZ professional qualification is an added advantage.
