Position Overview
The candidate should possess at least 2 years of post-qualification teaching and/ or research experience in a higher education or research institution. Experience in student assessment, research project supervision and curriculum development is an added advantage. A PhD (ongoing or complete) in Microbiology or related field will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be expected to be involved in the teaching of undergraduate students in General Microbiology, Food Microbiology, Industrial Microbiology, Bacteriology and Mycology, Fermentation Technology and Medical Microbiology. Supervision of student projects in the area of specialization will be expected.

Qualifications Required
Applicants must possess a BSc Honours degree in Applied Biology and Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biological Sciences or any other relevant field, and an MSc/ MPhil degree in Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related field with significant microbiology content
