Job Summary

Duties And Responsibilities

? Ensure SBUs submit all payroll inputs such as overtime, allowances payments and absenteeism returns before the stipulated deadlines.

? Compile and capture payroll inputs/changes onto payroll and print Audit Trail for checking by Payroll Administrator.

? Post net salaries payments and staff cost uploads on a monthly basis.

? Email payslips for Non-Managerial staff members.

? Maintain records of all payroll-related documents.

? Process terminations on the payroll system and other requisite entries.

? Prepare and post month-end journal entries and payments for third parties i.e. NSSA, WCIF, ZIMDEF, ZIMRA, garnishees, medical aid, funeral scheme, pension fund, and send payment confirmations to the relevant parties.

? Process loan applications in line with Policy.

? Prepare payroll leave administration as per left returns.

? Process Pension Fund, Medical Aid, and Staff Funeral Scheme additions/ deletions and withdrawals.

? Capture and post-school fees payments employees.

Qualifications, Skills, and experience required

? A Degree in Business Studies or equivalent.

? A full professional qualification such as IPMZ Diploma, Payroll Management or similar is essential.

? At least 3 years experience working in a similar role.

? Good communication and presentation skills and ability to relate well at all levels.

? Flair for attention to detail and ability to consistently produce accurate work.

? Knowledge of payroll systems, MS Word, MS Excel skills and accounting principles.
