Working under the supervision of the Provincial Administrative Assistant, the Administrative Intern’s primary role will be to support the Administration department with manning the reception and developing a filing system (for both electronic files and hard copy files).
Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with the Provincial Administrative Assistant to ensure smooth operation of all administrative matters; Answering calls and directing to respective staff members; Assist with minute taking during weekly meetings; Assist in sourcing of quotations; Assist in filing of supporting documents/invoices linked to administration; Assist in maintaining an updated and easily accessible hard copy and Electronic Admin Office Filing System; Assist with payment processing; Assist in receiving of purchased goods and distributing them to user departments and provinces; Any other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Knowledge of general office practices, procurement, maintenance and administrative procedures; Report to supervisor on variances and status on regular basis; Resourceful in gathering and providing information; Excellent written, oral, interpersonal and organization skills; Ability to work well with others and to develop and maintain compatibility among project staff, subcontractors, and recipients of assistance; Well-developed computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft office products.
Qualifications And Experience
BAcc/BCom/BTech Degree in Business Administration or its recognized equivalent. At least a year of work-related learning experience.
