Job Summary

Cimas wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the Receptionist role that has arisen in the Healthcare Services Division.

Duties and Responsibilities

Welcomes patients pleasantly and politely on arrival, assisting with relevant information.
Checks to ensure that the medical aid claim form is completed accurately and that all details are included.
Captures all patients details on the medical aid claim form into the System.
Verifies and validates patient medical aid records.
Advises patients on co-payment and shortfall requirements.
Responds to and resolves customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
Attends to queries from doctors and patients over the phone.
Schedules appointments for pre-booked consultations.
Receives, screens and directs all incoming calls to the appropriate individual or office promptly and accurately in a friendly and courteous manner.
Responds to enquiries, accepts messages and relays the same to the respective personnel as required.
Acts as a liaison person between Cimas members, Medical Aid, Cimas Clinics and Cimas Laboratories to strengthen working relations and ultimately customer experience.
Builds relationships with patients who visit Cimas Clinics to ensure client loyalty, return patients and increase referrals.
Meets with patients to discuss the quality of care offered in Clinics and gauge satisfaction levels.
Maintains customer centric focus and good relations with all Cimas members and non-members that visit the Clinics.
Explains medical aid packages, benefits, and limits to patients.
Identifies service gaps and makes necessary recommendations to Clinic Management and Medical Aid.
Prepares daily statistics and reports on activities handled.
Investigates, resolves, and responds to escalated enquiries and problems from members, patients and service providers
Informs Clinic Management and Medical Aid of frequently asked questions or complaints from patients.
Liaises and follows up with various departments on client related issues.
Receipts medical aid contributions from members who visit the Clinics.
Reconciles the receipts and banking daily.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma in Marketing is essential
2-4 years customer services or marketing experience in a similar environment
