NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite skills and experience for the following posts in the Library: ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN/ SENIOR ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN (1 POST) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: ? Reference Services; ? Liaising with Academic Departments in the selection of resources; ? Processing and organizing library material; ? Training of users in Information Literacy Skills; ? Supervising and guarding staff in the different units
Applicant must have a Degree in Librarianship/Information Science or a degree with Postgraduate qualification in Library/ Information Science. Preference will be given to an applicant with experience in Academic or Research Libraries. Computer Skills will be distinct advantages.
