Quality Assurance Manager


The job holder is responsible for the quality of the software product through management of processes, test case design and monitoring of system usage reports. The role also extends to internal process, artefacts and collateral audits. The role is responsible for providing guidance and leadership to Quality Assurance Team and its activities.


Responsibilities


Ø Provide leadership to the Quality Assurance Team.

Ø Ensure that quality is achieved through good system design, quality control and continuous improvement across Fintech Group.

Ø Achieve continuous improvement through leadership commitment, employee involvement and teamwork.

Ø Continuously update Quality Management Department handbook.

Ø Engage Product Managers in addressing quality planning, issues management and reporting.

Ø Develop a standardized approach for quality management reporting and analysis across the group.

Ø Establish a Quality Management Team culture where the focus is on customer care.

Ø Design systems that have structure and process that allows evaluation and comparison of quality measurements.

Ø To manage the process of the test and live environment.

Ø Actively be involved in ensuring that ISO standards are adhered to and work hand in hand with the relevant teams to build strong internal business processes

Ø Researches, evaluates and improves based on sound data collection and statistical methods.

Ø Set team goals and performance objectives and evaluate team performance

Ø Comply with company policies, Standards and Best Practice Guidelines

Ø Complete software development tasks as defined by standard operating procedures

Ø Achieve annual performance plan objectives


Qualifications


Ø A degree in Information Technology or equivalent

Ø An MBA/Post Graduate qualification or relevant certifications will be an added advantage

Ø Certification as a tester is required.

Ø Ability to formulate Systems Development strategies in line with the Company’s vision

Ø Ability to carry out Research and Implementation of Best Practice in the relevant field

Ø Ability to identify consumer needs and develop systems to fill the identified needs

Ø Ability to benchmark with industry standards in as far as software development and certification is concerned

Ø Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the relevant field
