(SCHOOL OF INFORMATION SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ) SOFTWARE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor (1 Post)
Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be expected to conduct tutorials, teach courses, mark assignments and tests in the following courses:
Applied Statistics
Discrete Mathematics
Number Theory
Numerical Analysis
Operations Research and other related BTech courses in the School of Information
Science and Technology.
In addition, the incumbent will be expected to participate in all Department, Faculty and University activities, engage in active research in his/her area of specialization, supervising students research work and develop innovations that lead to tangible products and/or services as well as carry out other departmental duties (academic and administrative) as and when assigned by the Vice Chancellor through the
Departmental Chairperson.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have an MSc/MTech Degree in Applied Mathematics/Computational Science and Engineering or a related Mathematical Science and at least two years relevant experience. A relevant PhD would be an added advantage
