Description

Duties: Providing excellent customer service is integral to the role. Trading Officer must work to maintain these relationships by continually assessing customer needs, identifying client concerns, recommending solutions, and following up regularly. Communicate new receivables to Portfolio Managers Work with the Portfolio Manager and assist where requested Communicate with clients with regards to potential transactions, registration, successfully funded deals, unsuccessfully funded Deals which includes but not limited to Expected payment dates, Maturity dates, Rollover and Default. Constantly review and check Trades Summaries and effect any necessary measures to insure the efficient operating of the platform Work with the Portfolio Manager and assist where requested Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports of advances and settlements and Record accurately, and in accordance with the department policies and procedures, such trading, financial and accounting records as receivables positions, and related corporate actions. Securing financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential Maintaining accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with financial, legal and regulatory requirements of the jurisdiction the company is operating in. Participate as a member of the Trade/Investment Committee Manage research projects as assigned by Portfolio Managers Complete special projects as needed Collate Trading stats and KPIs monthly, quarterly and annually Update the trade summaries and periodically check them for accuracy or any errors

Work/Educational Requirements

Key Skills Good written and oral communication skills Client First attitude, professional demeanour and an understanding of fiduciary responsibility Good organizational skills. Ethical behaviour. Ability to multi task and manage time efficiently Self-motivated, confident, detail-oriented and analytical Willingness to take on additional operational responsibilities as needed Demonstrated understanding of Trade and Supply Chain Finance and investments
