Job Functions: Administration,Copywriting
Responsible for Conceptualising, writing, proof reading and implementing quality control over content published across various advertising materials (e.g. Brochures, website, social media, catalogues, posters, press advertisements, etc.)
•Conceptualising and writing copy for all leaflets, catalogues, internal promotional materials and internally produced above the line work
•Conducting research to formulate ideas or support writing.
•Write, edit, rewrite and proof copy for all social media, promotions, brochure and website,
•Quality control (Checking that all advertising communication is truthful and that it complies with the codes of advertising practice as well as the codes set
out by governing bodies that influence our businesses
•Proactively monitor artwork quality, accuracy and consistency
•Write content plans for social media accounts which we will be developing for funeral branches
•Writing content for direct digital marketing in initiatives
•Updating Avbob’s website content and refreshing copy on a continuous basis
•Assist with the writing of advertorial content written in-house
•Assist with proof reading “Die Onderling” on a quarterly basis
•Work closely with the creative team and making sure all copy, concepts and visuals are aligned.
•Assisting in other aspects of the creative or research processes to create cohesive, accurate content.
•Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Business, Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Art or similar.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
•5 years’ experience in Copywriting.
•Experience in the Insurance environment
TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:
•Attention to detail,
•Ability to work within tight-deadlines and quick-turnarounds.
•Ability to work accurately and provide consistent quality whilst adhering to brand guidelines.
•Excellent team work and time management skills.
