About
A leading creative and digital media organization in Harare, Zimbabwe, is looking for a candidate to fill the role of Associate for its Creative Hub

Position Summary
An exciting position for a passionate multi-talented individual who is passionate about the creative arts. The successful candidate will work with the Hub Assistant under the supervision of Arts & Events Coordinator. The position is a combination of administrative, social media and creative management support services. Duties will require certain flexibility in working hours to accommodate for events and varying projects. This post is being offered on a short term 1-year contract basis with possibility of renewal based on performance and availability of funding.

Duties and Responsibilities

Job Description
• Coordinate the entire Creative Hub Projects including events, memberships, incubator programmes, regional networks and other initiatives
• Assist the Arts and Events Coordinator in coordinating all arts and creative entrepreneurial events, Hustlers Market, talks, trainings, virtual events and programmes at the Hub
• Coordinate accelerator and incubator programmes to benefit the creative sector
• Conceptualise new relevant virtual events in the post Covid-19 reality
• Coordinate the Creative South network of creative hubs
• Manage personnel, interns and resource people
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of the project
• Compile a final report on the project
• Create and implement project monitoring frameworks, indicators, targets, data collection tools, M&E plans
• Timeously provide monthly and quarterly reports on all activities, outputs and relevant outcome indicators
General
• Undergo any appropriate training as directed by the organisation.
• Comply with in-house policy, systems, and procedures of the organization at all times.
• Work as part of the team in contributing towards meeting the organisation’s objectives.
• Manage any staff assigned to work for the project.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Studies or equivalent. Comfortable with fundamentals of Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator & Photoshop). Knowledge and good understanding of the creative artsis key. Passionate about using digital media and arts for positive social change. Good command of written and spoken English. Excellent networking skills.
