Franchisee (Entrepreneur): Young Africa Zimbabwe Description Young Africa Zimbabwe is looking to recruit franchisees to head the following courses: Chitungwiza (Unit L, Seke): Cosmetology (Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy); Electronics; Plumbing and Drain Laying; Solar Technology. Epworth (Overspill): Cosmetology (Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy); Dressmaking; Welding Station: Chitungwiza and Epworth About the Organization Young Africa (YA) is a community-based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in 1998. Our mission is “the integral development of underprivileged youth. YA empowers young people through skills training for employability and entrepreneurship”. We teach young people skills of the hands to make them self-reliant, skills of the heart and mind to live with dignity and responsibility, skills of the soul to live with purpose. To date YA Zimbabwe has trained over 25000 young people. YA Zimbabwe reaches out to young people through our centers in Chitungwiza and Epworth. About the Partnership Young Africa Zimbabwe is looking for a Franchisee (Entrepreneur) to join a pool of 9 existing Franchisees who is willing and able to manage any of the departments listed below. The prospective Franchisee should be operating an existing business in the area in which he is interested in. The main aim of this partnership is to provide training to young people through the Franchise Business Model. This model is a relationship that exists between YA and various entrepreneurs (Franchisees) through a legal contract in order to translate training and production units into economically viable units that can also grow and in turn employ more youths while following the 70% practical and 30% theory model of learning. Work/Educational Requirements

Must be operating a registered and established business in the trade of interest for at least 3 -5 years; Demonstrate compliance with laws (e.g. Tax remittances, NSSA etc); A passion to train and cascade information to young people from vulnerable backgrounds.
