The job incumbent’s responsibility is to deliver the highest-quality content in the markets we serve and to do so in the various, multi-channel formats that today’s industry professionals demand, from informative e-newsletters to in-depth monthly magazines.


  • Present, promote, and sell the organisation’s online Magazine to existing and prospective customers
  • Provision of selling online advertising inventory to brands, networks, and/or agencies.
  • The candidate is expected to generate NEW business opportunities.
  • Provision of selling online advertising inventory to brands, networks, and/or agencies.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Magazine Sales or a similar position in the Media industry
  • Complete knowledge of industry laws and regulations
  • Familiarity with trending topics and current affairs
  • Ability to conduct in-depth research
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Highly creative and have an eye for detail
  • Ability to work in a competitive environment and handle deadlines
  • A team player and ability to work collaboratively
  • Highly motivated individual
  • Ability to offer excellent customer service
