A reputable organisation in the beverages industry is looking for sales merchandisers with some basic sales experience to join their team. The goal of the retail sales merchandiser is to help both the retailer and the manufacturer maximize sales and increase sales volume.
> To build and maintain manufacturer’s displays within specified outlets as detailed on your journey schedule in line with the outlets agreed policy as well as maintain regular calls on these outlets in accordance with the current journey schedule. The Sales Administrator will assign the schedule.
> Ensure that a proper level of stock is maintained and that the merchandise is displayed appropriately with proper signage and favourable shelf placement.
> Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
> Analyze sales data to identify bestselling lines and to develop promotional strategies.
> Observing display and pricing of competitors’ products
> Providing information by reporting on outlet performance using standard reporting format daily and weekly and exploring business opportunities in an assigned territory
> To develop and maintain a good working relationship with outlet personnel with a view to sustaining their active co-operation in the display of our products.
> Remain up to date with industry’s best practices
Qualifications and Experience:
> At least 5‘O’levels
> Must be energetic and enthusiastic as this position may be physically demanding
> The incumbent must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
