DESCRIPTION:
Our client is a well-established and very successful, Owner – managed Business, who are Specialists in the Mechanical Seals and Pumps industry, and amongst the biggest in the world in their field. They are looking for an experienced and ambitious Sales Rep - Someone who is keen on writing their own (big!) salary cheque each month!
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical) would be preferred but not essential
- A proven track record in sales, specifically experience in sales in the fields of Pumps/Seals/Gaskets, across sectors like mining, manufacturing and engineering.
- Must be prepared to travel significantly (no overnight travel)
- Someone who is able to self-manage and work independently
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will take care of their own Region and will maintain existing clients as well as create new business. This will focus mainly on Mining, Engineering and Plant/Manufacturing clients. It’s not an “office job” – in fact you will be expected not to be in the office much as you are too busy out there making Sales! It’s an entrepreneurial environment where hard work will be rewarded - and will suit a like-minded individual – someone with big financial ambitions and goals! You will work closely with the MD of the Company, and all necessary resources and Product training will be provided.
