Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated and task-oriented individuals to fill the following vacant positions that have arisen within Council:
SPORTS & EDUCATION COORDINATOR –
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY SERVICES
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
? Higher Diploma in Education, Sports Management or equivalent.
? 5 ‘O’ Levels including Mathematics and English.
? At least 1 year’s relevant experience in stated position.
? Good interpersonal communication skills.
MAIN DUTIES
? Creating sporting events in schools.
? Booking appropriate facilities and presenters.
? Establishing programs and conducting continuous evaluation of sports programs.
? Leading fundraising and marketing campaigns.
? Research on community-favored sportsand activities.
? Working with School Heads and School Development Committees for festivals and competitions.
? Ensures school curricula are up to standard in line with Ministry of Education.
? Maintains record of all school and community sporting groups.
? Any other duties assigned by superior.
