DESCRIPTION/SYNOPSYS:

A Large Multinational Company seeks a detail orientated, proactive and technically strong Commercial Manager to join their Team. This role will be based remotely 90% of the time so it is crucial that this individual is responsible and reliable.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

·          ACCA, B Com degree

·          Must have worked in Retail/Airline/Catering

·          Worked on commercial models

·          +3 years’ experience

·          Presentation skills and worked on tenders would be beneficial

·          Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel etc) and general computer system skills

·          Negotiation skills

·          Able to summarise, find meaning and value in large amounts of data

·          Leadership skills

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

The day to day activities /actions the employee must complete are:

·          New business

§   Financial models

§   Internal Rate of Return (IRR) calculations

§   Ratio analysis to inform decision making

§   Tender submissions and lead the commercial presentations in a sales process

§   Contracting and negotiation of the commercial elements

·          Product

§   Create commercial modelling templates to assist product buyers in making better, more informed commercial decisions when selecting products i.e. GP%, Minimum Order Quantities, Volume Rebates, Advertising Rebates, Open to Buy cashflow analysis, Sales forecasts vs actual sales trackers, sale or return stock models, consignment etc

§   Terms & Conditions – supplier contracts and negotiation

§   Promotions / discounting ROI

·          Technology

§   Return On Investment (ROI) modelling for new hardware & software purchases or ongoing development

·          Competitor Analysis

§   Industry financial modelling

§   Assess GAPS, SWOT in our over client commercial offer

·          General

§   Directly contribute towards improving the company’s net operating profit ratio to turnover
