FUNERAL CONSULTANTS
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above vacancy that has arisen within First Mutual Funeral Services.
The Job
Reporting to the Branch Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
* Providing funeral consultation services and supporting bereaved families throughout the funeral process.
* Preparing funeral service quotations and negotiating service packages with clients.
* Coordinating burials, repatriations, expatriations and cremations.
* Liaising with suppliers and recommending appropriate funeral products to clients.
* Assisting families in developing funeral programmes and ensuring smooth funeral proceedings.
* Managing receipting, banking, vehicle allocation and other branch control procedures.
* Managing the showroom and ensuring adequate stocking of all casket ranges.
* Monitoring customer satisfaction and conducting follow-ups on prospective clients.
* Supervising undertakers and morticians to ensure efficient service delivery and compliance with health and safety standards.
* Safeguarding clients’ personal effects and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications and Experience
The Person
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
* Diploma in Insurance, Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
* 5 Ordinary Level passes.
* A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience.
* Valid Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong communication, customer service, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
