Zimbabwe African National Union Patriotic Front (ZANU PF) POST: HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR ZANU PF is seeking applications from qualified, dynamic and career oriented professional for its Headquarters in Harare. It seeks the services of a motivated person who will fulfill the following responsibilities and have the qualifications and experience set out below. Key Responsibilities: To provide a comprehensive service to the party including: 1. Reports to the Secretary for Administration. 2. Initiating HR strategy for ZANU PF HQ and provincial units. 3. Administering and revising the HR Policy and Manual Procedure 4. Implementing and revising a company's compensation program 5. Creating and administrating a job evaluation system 6. Conducting annual salary surveys 7. Developing, analyzing and updating the Party's manpower budget as well as authorized compliment 8. Coordinates training and development system for staff at party HQ and Provincial Offices 9. Administers conditions of services 10. Overseeing recruitment and selection for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads. 11. Conduct new employee orientations and employee relations counselling 12. Administers employee relations as well as the disciplinary and grievances procedures 13. Maintaining departmental records and reports 14. Participating in administrative staff meetings 15. Maintaining Party directory and other organization charts CHARACTERISTICS: Excellent team player • An analytic mindset with great problem-solving abilities Able to contribute to the development of HR department goals, objectives and systems Good Communication – Excellent oral and written communication skills Good leadership abilities The ability to work under considerable time pressure on a regular basis A high level of motivation and energy Is ideological aligned to the values, principles of ZANU PF the ruling Party Ability to interact with high-level individuals and organisations • Loyalty to the Party and Leadership is a prerequisite The aptitude to interact effectively with subordinates and senior political leadership.

Work/Educational Requirements

A recognized Bachelor of Science/Arts in HR Management or any relevant Degree MSc/MA is a PLUS IPMZ Diploma in HRM is an added advantage PERSON SPECIFICATION • Should be a Party Card Holder • Motor vehicle driver's licenses
