Job Summary

Who We Are?
With over 20 years of experience, PSI/Zimbabwe now registered as Population Solutions for Health is looking for candidates who hold the requisite qualifications and experience to apply for the position below.

Job exists to develop, coordinate, and monitor the implementation of PSH’s Key Populations demand creation activities. The incumbent will provide technical marketing and communications support to all KP demand creation field teams to ensure that all demand creation activities (planning, implementation, and reporting) are implemented with fidelity.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your Contribution – Key Responsibilities.
• Assists in the development of client centered communication strategies for Key Populations to increase uptake of services.
• Supports the KP demand creation teams to develop and implement quarterly work- plans to support achievement of the organizational targets for Key Populations.
• Works closely with service delivery teams to align demand creation activities with service provision.
• Generates internal and external reports to track progress towards achievement of workplans.
• Supports the development of the annual marketing budget to fund supported KP activities for PSH and the MoHCC.
• Tracks and reviews KP marketing expenditures to ensure that all activities are implemented in a cost-effective manner.
• Facilitates the timely disbursement of funds to support the KP community mobilization activities.
• Supports the development and processes of mobilizer contracts and payments.
• Work with the creative agency, and KP-led community-based organizations and priority audiences to co-design communications campaigns, job aids and toolkits to increase uptake of products and services across the HIV continuum of care.
• Provide coaching /mentorship to strengthen KP mobilizing structures to adopt client centred messaging techniques and standardise messages.
• Supports service delivery teams with KP behavioural insights to strengthen KP friendly services.
• Develops key messages, IEC materials and delivery tools for KP demand creation interventions to ensure that field cadres are implementing standardized messages.
• Develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for KP demand creation activities with the support of Regional Demand Creation Specialists to achieve implementation with fidelity.
• Supports the PSH KP peer footprint of KP Differentiated Service Delivery Assistants and Enhanced Peer Mobilizers to identify training needs and facilitates trainings to enhance job-performance.
• Supports the identification and recruitment of Enhanced Peer Mobilizers to ensure that there is adequate footprint on the ground.
• Supports the design of M&E tools for use by KP demand creation structures during the execution of their tasks thereby providing timely data necessary for decision making.
• Reviews KP demand creation data cascades to identify gaps and opportunities for demand creation.
• Analyzes Management Information System data to identify communication gaps and tailor make mitigation measures.
• Conducts data quality checks of Interpersonal Communications data submitted every month.

Qualifications and Experience

What Are We Looking For?
• Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Social Science or Health Promotion.
• At least 3 years’ experience in HIV/AIDS programming, brand management and/or marketing communications.
• Experience working with Key Population groups and/or Human Centered Design approaches is an added advantage.
• Clean class 4 drivers’ licence, at least 2 years old.
