Logistics Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate transportation and movement of equipment, materials, and supplies.
* Monitor fleet utilization and logistics performance.
* Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company procedures.
* Manage inventory levels and coordinate deliveries to project sites.
* Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and site teams.
* Prepare logistics reports and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or equivalent.
* Professional logistics qualification will be an added advantage.
* Valid Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
* Minimum 10 years’ logistics experience in construction or heavy industry, of which 3 years should be in a senior or managerial role.
* Experience in construction or mining operations is mandatory.
* Knowledge of fleet management and procurement processes.
