Job Summary
A member of the SME Association of Zimbabwe is looking to recruit a Training and Development officer with a passion for teaching and creating clean environments. The incumbent will be required to continuously create training programs to address skills gaps in domestic workers and office cleaners.
Duties And Responsibilities
Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs
– Suggest ways and work on attaining training clients
– Maintain a database of training clients and phone numbers
– Have a feedback mechanism for training clients
– Follow the correct procedure for onboarding and serving clients
– To maintain an organized filing system for all registers, quotes and invoices to clients
– To ensure all training runs smoothly
– Continuously update training material, in sync with latest trends and free from grammatical or spelling errors
– Recommend new training approaches, techniques and programs
– Monitor training results and statistics via reviews and maintaining a database
– To do research on effective cleaning methods that are practical for housekeeping
– To come up with new training and ways to increase training revenue
– To respond to emails and other communications from clients and trainees
– To schedule training with external trainers when there is need
– Ensure all operations adhere to the organization’s policies and procedures
– Ensure the training department as a whole runs effectively and smoothly
Qualifications And Experience

Any Training or Hospitality qualification is a must
• Experience in a supervisory role in the cleaning services industry is a must
• Conversant with Microsoft Office and Google Sheets
• Good communicator, empathetic and patient
• Willing to learn and grow within the company
