An established Security company is recruiting.

You will form part of a two man team, (Driver and Crew Commander) that will have to respond to alarm activations within the private & public sector.

Part of your job will potentially involve apprehending intruders that are breaking and entering into premises and detaining them before handing over to the police. Whilst performing an arrest you may find yourself in a physical confrontation that could result in injury.

To perform this job you will need to be physically fit and able bodied. 

Criteria.

â?¢ Age 22-40 years

â?¢ Height 1.75 metres or above

â?¢ Education at least 3 â??Oâ?? levels passes (C or higher) one of which must be English language. A very good command of both spoken and written English.

â?¢ Clean class 4 drivers licence and a valid defensive driving certificate ( for those who would like to be drivers)

As part of the selection process you will also undergo a mandatory polygraph test.

Duties and Responsibilities:-

â?¢ Assist customers with determining part number(s), locate parts, receive parts into inventory, distribute parts to customers, and properly document transactions.

. Following up with customers

â?¢ Read catalogs, or computer displays in order to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices.

â?¢ Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions.

â?¢ Receive and fill telephone orders for parts.

â?¢ Pull customer orders from stock.

â?¢ Prepare sales invoices or sales contracts.

â?¢ Receive payment or obtain credit authorization

â?¢ Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available.

â?¢ Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts or refund money upon authorization.

â?¢ Mark and store parts in stockroom or shelves according to prearranged systems.

â?¢ Discuss use and features of various parts, based on knowledge of machines or equipment.

â?¢ Demonstrate equipment to customers and explain functioning of equipment.

â?¢ Place new merchandise on display.

â?¢ Cleaning and maintaining cleanliness of the working area / shop.

Qualifications:  

A level, Certificate / diploma in sales.

-Till operating experience and computer literacy an added advantage.
