Job Summary

Zimbabwe National Boxing and Wrestling Control Board (ZNBWCB) is an organisation born out of statute with a mandate to oversee and promote the development and promotion of boxing, wrestling, mixed martial arts (MMA) and related activities in Zimbabwe. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fit the vacancy of the Finance Manager (Head Office). The incumbent reports to Director Finance.

Job Purpose
To develop and maintain sound financial management practices for the organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities

? Develops and maintains financial management processes.
? Reviews financial internal controls.
? Prepares and monitors budgets and cash flow projections.
? Captures all financial transactions.
? Prepares financial reconciliations.
? Processes statutory remittances.
? Controls organizational expenditure.
? Conducts procurement due-diligence.
? Manages the Asset Register (accounting and depreciation).
? Liaises with Internal Auditor on Audit issues.
? Prepares Financial Reports.
? Prepares Board Finance Pack.
? Sets subordinates performance objectives.
? Appraises departmental staff performance.
? Provides coaching and counselling to subordinates.
? Manages staff discipline in the department.
? Oversees the operations of the company’s finance department

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Accounting;
• Full ACCA/CIMA or CIS is an added advantage.
• Minimum three (3) years relevant experience in government or quasi-government set up would be an added advantage;
