Marketing Officer :

Job Summary

Plans and oversees the Agency’s marketing activities and campaigns for international and domestic investment promotion activities

Duties and Responsibilities

• Designs and implements annual marketing campaign plan
• Develops and implements local and international trade show exhibit materials for all Agency forums and missions
• Develops, implements and monitors Agency’s social media platform annual plans
• Designs and continuously updates all company branded materials and manuals in collaboration with external agencies and partners
• Tracks and monitors all Agency related local and international digital footprints and engagements
• Provides input materials and supports external agencies in the design and production of visual marketing materials
• Plans and coordinates local Investment and trade mission setup and materials
• Plans and coordinates annual Agency photo and video shoots and all mission photo sessions
• Coordinates monthly clean-up campaigns and Corporate Social Responsibility events
• Provides support for the Agency’s external interactions and initiatives

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field.
• Work experience at international level in investment promotion is desirable
• Project Management Qualification/ Certification
• At least 3 years work experience in a similar role
• Fluency in English, Shona or Ndebele
• Proficiency in a foreign language such as French, Chinese, Spanish, Russian or Arabic is an added advantage
• Experience with multiple digital marketing channels including, email, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter
• Excellent communication skills
