ZIMBABWE MANPOWER DEVELOPMENT FUND (ZIMDEF)
ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacant post that has arisen within the Zimbabwe Manpower Development Fund (ZIMDEF) – an equal opportunity employer.
JOB PURPOSE
The position exists to implement and provide all administrative initiatives and functions and provide the requisite support to enable the efficient and smooth flow of operations thus attaining the mandate of the Fund.
Duties and Responsibilities
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Receiving stock items physically during deliveries and comparing them to the purchase orders to ensure correct deliveries are made.
* Endorse delivery notes to confirm receipt of requested material and resources.
* Capture received goods in the SAP system.
* Submit all correspondence documentation including GRVs to the supervisor for authorization or approval.
* Organise and maintain the inventory and storage areas.
* Issue items on SAP on all requisitions that are approved to facilitate smooth flow of operations.
* Participate in monthly stock take to account for all stock and preserve organisational value.
* Monitor and analyse stock movement and recommend replenishment of same where stock item is depleted to avoid any stock outs.
* Process manual order for repair services as authorized by the supervisor to facilitate the fixing of damaged assets.
* Attend and participate in the disposal of assets.
* Request for quotes for subscriptions that are almost due to facilitate payments of such and approval of renewals.
Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK COMPETENCIES
* BSc Business Administration or equivalent.
* 3 years’ experience in Administration or equivalent.
* Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
* Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
