SALES & MARKETING MANAGER :

Job Summary

A Bulawayo-based Mining and Industrial Fastener manufacturing company invites
suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of a Sales & Marketing Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

Some of the key duties include:
- Meeting set sales monthly targets.
- Prospecting for new business and expanding on existing business.
- Identify, develop, implement and evaluate a sales and Marketing strategy for the organisation in line with company objectives
- Ensure that efficient and appropriate customer service standards are
maintained
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies.
- Take the initiative in the supervision, training and performance evaluation of marketing and sales staff.

Qualifications and Experience

- Sales & Marketing Degree or equivalent from a recognised institution.
- A Post Graduate qualification or a Technical qualification is an added
advantage.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial role.
- Exposure in sales of bolts, nuts, nails, mining roof bolts, engineering spares and
related products, an added advantage.
- Knowledge of the following market segments: mining, hardwares,
construction, transport and general engineering industry.
- A wide knowledge of local & regional markets.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve results.
- Honest and reliable with good moral values and behaviour.
- Strong interpersonal relations and communication skills with ability to lead &
motivate the sales team towards set targets.
- Clean Class 4 driver’s licence
- Knowledge of pastel will be an added advantage
