Duties and Responsibilities
Producing a pattern, either by hand or using computer aided design.
Constructing clothes and basic interior deco items.
Staying up to date with the various garment design ideas and latest trends.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
Five Ordinary Level Passes including English Language.
National Certificate in Clothing and Textile Technology from a recognised institution.
Experience and Qualities
At least one (1) year post qualification experience as a Tailor.
Be able to work under tight deadlines.
Have a keen interest in fashion and textiles.
Highly organised with good prioritisation skills.
The ability to think creatively and deliver impressive concepts.
Proficiency in using different types of sewing machines.
