Agronomist

Required for a Masvingo based farm.

Key responsibilities

1.Studies crops and soil inorder to develop better planting , cultivation and harvesting techniques , improve crop yield at the farm.

2.Allocates work to workers and supervises and takes corrective measures.

3. Assesses crops from planting to harvesting and takes corrective action. 4. Takes care of pig at farm from raising, breeding, feeding and all other pig related activities.

5.Keep detailed records of all activities at farm.

6.Generates reports and presents findings. 

7. Invoved in sales and marketing of produce. 

8. Recommends any other issues on the farm

Degree or diploma in agriculture or related areas

At least 3 years experience as an agronomist at a farm

Knowledge in piggery is an added advantage
