Duties and Responsibilities

The Role-What we expect from you

• Install and test Operating Systems and Applications on physical and virtual platforms (Hyper-V and VMware)

• Configure user specific customizations on the Operating System and the Applications to prepare the equipment for use at destination station.

• Conduct research on computer products in support of PC, Server and Printer procurement and development efforts.

• Recommend, schedule and perform PCs, servers and peripheral equipment Preventative maintenance across bank branches and Datacenters

• Maintain operational availability for EFT systems at agreed SLA rates and review system capacity.

• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT Hardware and Software assets.

• Implement and review IT Security controls on all internally developed systems.

• Set up DR for all supported systems

• Document DR plan and invocation procedures

• Perform DR tests routinely as per set guidelines and as per central bank requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications, Skills and experience required

· Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology

· HP FLAPS, HP Blade Systems Administration, Microsoft, Security+, A+ City and or equivalent

· ITIL Foundation, Veritas NetBackup or other relevant certifications

· 3 Years’ experience of Hardware systems support

· Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, EFT systems and Computer Hardware architecture and maintenance.
