Sales Representative - Medical Aid and Insurance :

Job Summary

REPORTING TO: Principal Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

The position:
• Generating sales leads for both medical aid and insurance products up to set annual targets.
• Negotiating contracts with prospective clients.
• Assisting in determining pricing schedules for quotations, promotions and negotiations.
• Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
• Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
• Understanding and promoting company programs.
• Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.

Qualifications and Experience

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
• Degree / Diploma in marketing or sales.
• 10 years experience in medical aid and insurance business.
• Clean Class 4 Driver’s licence.
• Able to travel extensively across the country.
• 40 years and above of age.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with both
• customers and providers of services.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Conversant with Microsoft packages including word, excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of statutory stipulations within the industry will be an added advantage.
