Job Summary

A private school in the new surbubs of Glaudina in Harare is offering an employment opportunity to suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Marketing Officer. The Incumbent will provide leadership in all marketing facets of the school .

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :
• Create marketing plans for social media activities
• Manage social media accounts for the school
• Write and dispatch email marketing campaigns
• Provide accurate reports and analysis to clients and Company Management to demonstrate effective return on investment (ROI)
• Identify key influencers on various social media channels who can help spread brand awareness.
• Research new marketing opportunities that may benefit the School.
• Marketing and promoting the school to both potential and existing clients
• Developing relationships with clients and building client loyalty to ensure high client retention

• Expertise in social media marketing
• Highly organised , intelligent and proactive person
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken language and strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills

Qualifications and experience
The ideal position holder should posses :
• An Honours Degree in Marketing .
• Certificate in social media marketing an added advantage
• Past experience in a marketing position with knowledge and experience in social marketing.
• Customer service knowledge and experience is a must
• Self starter with ability to spearhead and lead a marketing team.
