Job Summary
The incumbents will be responsible to the Business Performance Supervisor/ Chief Telecoms Technician and will be required to work on fault clearing, planning, installing and maintaining of all voice and data communication networks.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides Preventive Maintenance On Networks To Reduce Occurrence Rate Of Faults.
Plans, Costing And Implementation Of Optic Fibre And Copper Projects For Network Expansion.
Installs Protection At RLUs Cabinets And DPs And The Provision Of Earth Systems
Termination Of Optic Fibre In Joint Boxes And Patch-Panels At Client Premises
Installations Of Outside Broadcasting (OB) Circuits /Broadcasting Coverages.
Carries Out Network Rehabilitation To Reduce Fault Occurrence And Improve On The Outlook Of The Network.
Ensures Safety Precautions Are Adhered To By Subordinates
Ensures That TelOne Standards Are Maintained On All Operational Tasks
Completes Other Related Tasks As Required.
Qualifications and Experience

5 O’ Levels Including English, Maths And Science.
TelOne Centre For Learning Telecommunications Engineering Diploma.
ICT Certifications Will Be An Added Advantage
Driver’s License A Must.
