Sales & Marketing Representative :

Job Summary

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above position that has arisen within our organisation. The incumbent will be reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

Sells a given product range and quantity to specific customers within the agreed time period.
Determine customer needs and matches products to those needs.
Prospecting for new customers and producing sales leads.
Plan and conduct sales trips within the prescribed area of operation.
Provide market feedback to marketing/sales management through reports.
Provide technical advice to customers on product use, handling and safety.
Manage and enhance customer satisfaction.
Assist in the collection of outstanding debts.
Attend to all customer complaints on our product range.
Gather information and report to the Sales Manager on all major events in the market in relation to product movement, customer behaviour and competitor activities.
Ensuring that customer service and back up is at its best at all times by maintaining customer visits and follow ups.

Qualifications and Experience

A Degree / HND in Sales and Marketing or related field from a reputable institution.
At least three years’ relevant working experience. Experience in an engineering /manufacturing setup is an added advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Be a self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision.
Goal-oriented and results driven and must be able to work both independently and within a team environment.
Ability to work with and meet strict deadlines, with a keen eye for detail.
A clean class four driver's license, a must.
